About Us
Justin Cota is the owner and founder of MVRK Builders. With more than a decade of experience in the construction industry, Justin has expansive knowledge in both commercial and residential construction, and specializes in high end construction projects. Working on both residential homes as well as large scale commercial projects for high end retail malls such as South Coast Plaza, Justin found his love for building at a young age. He apprenticed under a seasoned GC with more than 40 years of building experience, and brings a relaxed, structured, positive approach to all his projects.
Personally, Justin is married to his high school sweetheart, has two dogs, and enjoys all things outdoors.

My husband, Nick and I were first introduced to Justin Cota/MRVK in the summer of 2022. We had just purchased our first vacation home in Indian Wells. Justin came in with wheels turning, full speed ahead as we wanted to be
home-ready for the season. Justin is a professional with a great eye for detail. He is a listener and understood our extremely particular expectations. Justin is a fantastic communicator and always ensures we are all on the same page from the smallest detail to the largest. Justin’s sub contractors are excellent, their work and craftsmanship is exactly what we had expected.
Upon finishing our desert home in November 2022, we suffered extensive water damage to our Newport Beach home during the 2023 winter rainy season. We, again contracted Justin to oversee what would be a 90 day job.
